Back on October 9th, we took a look at George Harrison's lawsuit-plagued, but classic, single “My Sweet Lord” from his 1970 triple album, “All Things Must Pass.” You can read about it here:

Today's we're highlighting the second single from the album...a song that George put together with legendary producer (and future convicted murderer) Phil Spector, and featuring musical assistance from a few people you may have heard of: Pete Ham and Tom Evans of Badfinger, Delaney, Bonnie & Friends...and a guitarist by the name of Eric Clapton.
“What is Life” was a #1 record in Australia and Switzerland...and Top 10 charter in a bunch of others places, including Austria, Belgium, Norway, Germany, New Zealand, and South Africa.
Unfortunately, the album title, “All Things Must Pass,” was true. George passed way too soon in 2001 at the age of just 58.
His widow Olivia and his son “Dhani, however, had an idea to keep George's memory alive and fresh. To commemorate the 2014 release of “The Apple Years: 1968-75” (a collection of George's work), they invited filmmakers to create a video for "What Is Life.”
The winner would receive $5,000 and their entry would become the official “What is Life” video. Brandon Moore of California was the winner with a video that featured dance interpretations by Emma Rubinowitz and Esteban Hernandez of the San Francisco Ballet, filmed in and around the San Francisco Presidio.
Personal note: I'm not a dancer, and interpretive dance is normally not my thing...but I LOVE this video. In my honest opinion, it's one of the many reasons why “All Things Harrison” will NEVER “Pass.”
