Creedence Clearwater Revival's 1970 album, "Cosmo's Factory," was full of "Great Songs," including "Looking Out My Back Door," which we highlighted back on 6/2/20
*(See link below),* and several others which we'll eventually get to "Up Around the Bend."
Oh wait, that's the name of one of the best songs on the album! (See what I did there?)
"Up Around the Bend" with its very strong "B" side, "Run through the Jungle," proceeded to run "up" the charts, reaching the Top 10 in 12 countries--including #1 in Canada and #4 in the US. The 2-sided single eventually sold more than a million copies in the US alone!
CCR in its prime was a force to be reckoned with, and with "up Around the Bend" and "Run Through the Jungle," they gave us TWO "Great Songs of the '70s" for the price of one!
