One of my favorite singers from the '70s is Carly Simon. On top of being rich and beautiful, she was a wonderful singer and songwriter. Her many "Great Songs of the '70s" included "You're so Vain," "Anticipation," and "Nobody Does It Better." Then there was "Mockingbird," her duet with then-husband James Taylor. MY favorite Simon song went to #4 on the Adult Contemporary chart and #17 on the Pop chart. It MAY have been about her love for James, but we're not sure. Carly keeps things close to the vest. Heck, we're STILL wondering who she was singing about in "You're So Vain." Anyway from 1973, here's Carly, with "The Right Thing to Do!"
