One gauge of a "Great Song," whether it's from the '70s or any other decade...is chart performance. This next song was a Top 10 hit in Australia, Belgium, Denmark, Germany, Ireland, Italy, New Zealand, and South Africa...and #1 in Spain, Canada and the U.S.! I'm pretty sure we all know this one. It's not only one of the most famous disco songs ever recorded, it also started a world-wide dance craze. I still remember how dozens of people who most likely had never met would flood the dance floor at the 2001 Club in Toledo and She-Nannigans in Eau Claire...and dance in unison. It was so cool!
