Shower the People (With Love) - James Taylor (1976) 8/16/21

James Taylor and Carly Simon were married from 1972 to 1983, and during those 11 years, they made some beautiful music together--including 1975's "How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You," which we highlighted back on: 6/27/20:

"Shower the People (with Love)" was a laid-back ballad that offered some good advice--in a very calm, direct way. In short, the message was, "Life's too short to be a jerk." :-) The song reached #1 on the Adult Contemporary Charts in both the US and Canada, helping to make "Shower the People (With Love)" a "Great Song of 1976."
