In 1957, Huey "Piano" Smith had a minor hit (#52 on the Top 100). In 1972, Johnny Rivers recorded an updated version of the song, and turned the minor hit into a major success--peaking at #6 in the U.S. and #3 in Canada. After all these years, the only cure for the "Rockin' Pneumonia and the Boogie Woogie Flu," is to sit back and enjoy it!
