Up to Canada we go for today's "Great Song of the '70s!" Ian Thomas is the younger brother of actor Dave Thomas, who played Doug MacKenzie in SCTV's legendary "Great White North" skits with Rick Moranis... as well as in the film "Strange Brew." Ian is also an actor who you may remember as "Dougie" on Canada's "Red Green Show." Some of you have no idea who or what I'm talking about, but that's okay. For our purposes, the important thing to remember is that Ian is also a talented musician who, in 1973, came up with a song that went to #4 in Canada and #34 in the U.S. In my honest opinion, if more U.S. stations had played Canadian music, this could have easily made the U.S.Top 10.
