By 1970, Three Dog Night was on roll, releasing "Great Song" after "Great Song." (In order: "One," "Easy to Be Hard," "Celebrate," "Mama Told Me Not to Come," and "Out in the Country.")
So when they released their 1970 album, "Harmony," it surprised absolutely no one when the first single became another "Great Song" for the trio.
"One Man Band" featured some killer organ and guitar parts, the group's patented three-part harmonies, and a cool acapella ending.
Pretty solid...and certainly a "Great Song," but it was just a warm-up for the next single release from "Harmony:" a song you may have heard of called "Joy to the World!" We highlighted "Joy" back on 5/23/20, and you can read about it below.
But also give your memories a jog and listen to "One Man Band:" one of SEVERAL "Great Songs" in a row by Three Dog Night!
