The video for today's Great Song of 1982 is quite funny, but there's more to "Love's Been a Little Bit Hard on Me" by Juice Newton than a few laughs.
It's a country rock masterpiece...and danceable, too! Juice (Judith Kay Newton ) is in fine form vocally...and definitely shows off some solid guitar chops while she's at it.
So It was no surprise when "Love's Been a Little Bit Hard on Me"
climbed into Billboard's Top 10 on 2 charts: #4 Adult Contemporary and #7 on the Hot 100. In Canada, the matching numbers were #3 & #24 respectively.
Plus, Juice not only garnered a Grammy nomination for "Best Female Performance-Pop, the video won The American Video Association's "Song of the Year Award!
