Last Song 11/14/19

Oh, Canada! I've mentioned before that growing up in the Toledo area, with CKLW in Windsor, Ontario beaming 50,000 watts of Top 40 music directly to Detroit, Toledo and Cleveland in the '60s and '70s, we were fortunate to hear some GREAT Canadian music--music that folks in other parts of the U.S. might not have heard. This next song, however, is an exception. Released in late 1972, it not only went to #1 in Canada, it hit #3 in the U.S., and spent 18 weeks on the chart in 1972-73...so I'm pretty sure we've all heard it. I thought it was a GREAT song then, and I still do.Trivia: Edward Bear is Winnie the Pooh's "proper" name.
