In late September of 1976, Stevie Wonder released "Songs in the Key of Life," an amazingly creative double album that also came with a bonus 4-song extended-play disc. "Songs" debuted at #1 on the Album chart-- making Stevie the first American artist to achieve the honor. Critics have called it "the culmination of Stevie's 'classic' period," and one listen will tell you why. It yielded 4 Top 40 singles...including "Sir Duke," "Isn't She Lovely," and the FIRST single from the album, which topped the charts in January of 1977. This "Great Song of the '70s" was auto-biographical, funky, jazzy...and a great dance tune! Here's Stevie..and "I Wish!"
