Here's Hit #8 in my series of posts highlighting what I think were great songs from the 70s. Some people know that in addition to being a radio DJ, I was also a club jock, starting in 1975 at the 2001 Club in Toledo...and then continuing through 1984 in Eau Claire, at She-Nannigans, Trader & Trapper and Wagner's Down Under.In other words, the Disco era. My absolute favorite disco song was a guaranteed floor-filler: It was catchy, it was smooth...and at 120 beats per minute, a DJ could mix it with dozens of other great disco tunes. Cameron Diaz even Twerks to it in the film "Charlie's Angels!' From 1976:
