Back on March 13th, we highlighted the first "Great Song of the '70s" by the the 3 guys with 4 names: Hamilton, Joe Frank, and Reynolds. You can read about 1971's "Don't Pull Your Love" here:
https://www.facebook.com/MichaelCuuuk/posts/297809921692462 It took a while, but they actually topped themselves with a slightly bigger hit...and another "Great Song:" 1975's "Fallin' in Love," written by Dan Hamilton. Strangely, Reynolds had left the group in 1972 and was replaced by Alan Dennison...but they didn't bother to change their group name.(Personally, I think Hamilton, Joe Frank, and Al would have been a great name!) While "Don't Pull Your Love" had peaked at #4 on the Hot 100, "Fallin' In Love" made it all the way to #1 on both the Hot 100 AND Adult Contemporary Charts! It became the group's only #1 song, and the only #1 hit for Playboy Records. Yes, THAT Playboy. In 1995, the German group La Bouche released an EXCELLENT slow dance version of "Fallin' In Love" that charted in 18 countries...reaching #4 in Canada and Hungary (of all places). In the US, it had the most success of all, peaking at #3 on the Dance Chart. "Fallin' in Love," a "Great Song of 1975 by Hamilton, Joe Frank & Reynolds (Dennison), and 1995 by La Bouche. H,JF & R(D):
