I have a fever, and the only prescription is...MORE COWBELL! :)

The SNL skit featuring Christopher Walken and Will Ferrell from 2000 (20 years ago!!) reignited the popularity of Blue Oyster Cult's "Great Song of the '70s!"

In 1976, the song went to #11 on the U.S. Hot 100 and #7 in Canada. Rolling Stone Magazine has it on their "Top 500 of All Time" list...and Stephen King has stated the song was the inspiration for his novel, "The Stand!"

Note that the cowbell is actually understated in the original, which makes the SNL skit even funnier! (Check it out!)
