Calling actor Jack Wagner a soap opera star is pretty much a no-brainer. Over the years, he's had major roles on General Hospital, Santa Barbara, The Bold & The Beautiful, and Melrose Place.
He's still at it, playing the town Sheriff on the Hallmark Channel series "When Calls the Heart."
But if you're a fan, you know he was also a singer, and in early 1985, he scored a Great Song with "All I Need."
In fact, the song was a big hit in both the US and Canada, topping the Adult Contemporary Charts in both countries, while reaching #2 on the Hot 100 in the US, and #3 on Canada's Top 40.
Of course, as a love song, "All I Need's" popularity was enhanced by Jack's "soap star (read: heart-throb) status," but it was still a Great Song of 1985! So much so, in 2009, VH-1 named it one of the top one-hit wonders of the '80s!
